As some of you may know, I am starting to do a series of videos about some common issues found during home inspections. I do want to take this opportunity to thank those who have been responding to these. In response to one of the questions asked, "How do you repair water stains?", I have came up with this video. Enjoy - No tomato throwing allowed...
Have a great Tuesday, Y'all... 8-)

Nicely done, I love the use of video. I also wouldn't have thought of a stain blocker. I would have been guilty of simply painting. thanks for the tip.
Hey Michael that was nicely done. You were a lot more relaxed in front of the camera. My only comment would be that you kept pointing to the water stain but I could not see a stain.
Very nicely done!! As a landlord for twenty years, I am so guilty of assuming everyone knows that!
Michael, nicely done and I agree that you are definitely coming across as more relaxed. You also did a great job with your explanation as how repair the issue.

Are you using a blue or green screen? You almost look 3D. :) I just had to paint my kitchen ceiling, not due to water stains though. I HATE painting the ceiling. It's probably my least favorite area to paint. But I digress...Good information. It's good to see you are providing info for both home buyers and sellers. :)

Michael - Great job personalizing your profession with the use of video! I like it!
You have the best information!! I knew about this. But this is something I can use with my first-time buyers. Thanks!!
Michael - I always thought you guys were out to kill the deal. Just kidding. I like the great little instruction video you put together. I hope to see more in the future.
Nice job, Michael.. This is going to be a great series!
Ok, jumping the gun here but I LOVE the idea of what you are tackling here! Now I need to go watch the video :) ~Rita
Michael - Your doing a great job with the videos... keep up the great work !
Good job and explanation of the repair including possible consequences of a half done job. Like the shirt.
Great video Michael. I may reblog this morning as time is slippen into the future very fast today. This is good info for buyers and sellers.
Michael...
This is a great video. What kind of video camera do you use? I have been thinking about getting one and I like the quality of your videos very much.
The content was excellent too.
Richard, I am using a Sony VX2000. I purchased it used on Ebay. This camera is capable of doing broadcast quality videos. Kinda overkill for YouTube, but I am doing videos for local agents to put on the local cable channel. This is the reason I invested in this camera...
This is great stuff Michael.
Really well done.
I'd like to know what program you're using to add in your graphics and then to edit it for upload to YouTube.
Great Job Michael!
Here's one for you that pops up on every inspection... roof shingles. What kind to buy, how long should they last, can they be installed on top of old shingles, do they need replaced just because they are starting to curl.
Michael...
Thanks ... I could tell that it was better than the average "pocket" camcorder!
Michael - Bang Up job, buddy. You were so much better just talking to us. that was really good, and I liked the word insertions. good job. Keep it up.
